General Information:Black bear claw pendants with a bold curved shape and a hole through the wide end for easy stringing. Made of lightweight plastic, each claw measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long and can be added directly to cord, leather, beading material or other jewelry designs. Use them individually as focal pendants or combine several with beads and other components to create a more elaborate bear claw necklace. 2 black bear claws per package.
Bear claws have a long association with Native American jewelry and culture, particularly among Plains Indian peoples. Traditional bear claw necklaces could represent the strength and power of the bear and were also associated in various traditions with protection, leadership and spiritual power. These plastic bear claws offer the familiar curved claw shape for creating Native-inspired, Western and wildlife jewelry, costume accessories and craft projects. Combine them with leather, beads, feathers or other natural-looking components to create your own interpretation.
